Overview

Rainy Desk ("the App") is developed by Bee's Knees. This policy explains what data is handled, how long it is kept, and how you can delete it.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App saves the following preferences locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server by Rainy Desk.

• Selected sounds and individual volume levels
• Sleep timer settings
• Lightning effect frequency and intensity
• Master volume

Retention period: This data is stored until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. There is no automatic expiry.

Camera & Flash

The App requests camera permission solely to control the device's flashlight (torch) for lightning simulation. No photos or videos are taken, accessed, or stored at any time.

Local Notifications

Rainy Desk may send local notifications for sleep timer events and sound playback status. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and are not transmitted anywhere.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob collects certain data to deliver and improve ads, including:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android)
• IP address (used to infer approximate location)
• Device model, OS version, and language
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google LLC, not by Bee's Knees. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for full details. AdMob retains raw interaction data for up to 63 days, after which it is aggregated and anonymized.

iOS (App Tracking Transparency): On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will ask for your permission before allowing AdMob to use your advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Opt out of personalized ads:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

In-App Purchase (Remove Ads)

A one-time purchase is available to permanently remove all advertisements. After this purchase, AdMob is fully disabled and no advertising data is collected.

Payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Rainy Desk does not receive, store, or process any payment or billing information.

How to Delete Your Data

AdMob / Google data: Advertising data collected by AdMob is managed by Google LLC, not by Bee's Knees. To request deletion, please use Google's data deletion tool or refer to Google's Privacy Policy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID directly on your device (see Opt Out instructions above).

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. Rainy Desk does not knowingly collect personal information from children. AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads only to users where required by law (e.g. verified minors). If you believe a child is using this App and you have concerns, please contact us at sysop@beesk.it.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when new features are introduced. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

If we make a material change — such as adding a new data collection practice — we will notify you in advance through the app update release notes and/or an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
